I rarely write reviews but I just had to share my experience with this book. I have two year old twins. One has a diagnosed speech delay. They both love this book and are excited to read it. It has simple pictures that are easy for them to recognize and picture everyday things. They both love imitating the sounds. I think it’s a great for speech therapy for toddlers. Definitely recommend.

My toddler loves it!
I am an SLP and I also have a toddler! When she was a baby I came across the recommendation for this book somewhere so I got it. And we’ve looked at it and read it since she was probably around a year, it’s been one of her favorites to attend to/listen to, and very cool to see her start to imitate the gestures and some of the early sounds more and more as the weeks went by, and now she’s 18 months and she still LOVES it, it’s usually one she always brings to me, and she loves making all the sounds and gestures. it’s simplicity for targeting joint attention, turn taking, imitation, comprehension and early speech is beautiful and motivating!! Great info and tips for parents in the beginning as well. I will probably upcycle the book when she’s done with it to use in therapy with littles, or at the very least will be recommending to parents :) well done, from one SLP to another!
